I instructed B-registered Homoeopaths during 1997-1998 in physical
diagnostics and applied homoeopathic therapeutics as required by the
Homoeopathic
Education
Committee as one of the prerequisites to attain the A-registration with
the Chiropractors, Homeopaths and Allied Health Service Professions
Interim Council (under Act 63 of 1982). The Homoeopathic Education
Committee was a subcommittee of the Homeopathic Liaison Committee which
was instituted by Chiropractors, Homeopaths and Allied Health Service
Professions Interim Council. This Interim Council was the precursor of
the Allied Health Professions Council.
I also conducted consultation-based clinical teaching in during my
consultations with patients in my rooms. This was conducted once weekly
on a Thursday morning. This activity commenced in 1997.
The above activity was accredited as an official Continuous Professional
Development (CPD) activity via the South African Medical Association for
the Health Professions Council of South Africa. This activity provided
medical and homoeopathic CPD learning for medically and non-medically
trained homoeopathic practitioners between the years 2000-2006.
I conducted a number of seminars:
The year 2000: Eczema, chronic diseases, e.g., Rheumatology, Diabetes
Mellitus - a total of eight seminars, which were conducted once monthly
The years 2001 and 2002: Hypertension, neurology and cardiopulmonary

I supervise medical students who chose homoeopathic therapeutics as
their elective during their elective study period.
